The competition is AHA sanctioned and open to any amateur homebrewer age 21 or older. The competition winner gets the opportunity to brew their beer on the Star City system.

Tim McKee took first prize last year with his Altbier. He later helped brew it at the brewery and it’ll be on tap for this year’s competition.

There’ll be a light breakfast with juice/coffee beforehand, one judging session at 9am and a pizza lunch to follow. All volunteers will receive a complimentary draft beer of their choice after judging is complete.
